[indent]There exists a mysterious entity called "Core" ([tip="Vendread Core"][/tip]). They are of pure lifeforce, very powerful to the point that biomass keeps materiallizing around them, but the most important thing is that they can possess any biological being, allowing them to take control of the living, or even reanimate the dead. (search for "anima"/"vitalism"). First they materiallize a body for themselves, called "Anima" ([tip="Vendread Anima"][/tip]), then start spreading their Core to all people in the X City (scoruge states that this city is the one appears in Skyscraper, which is very possible).

And then we have a random guy on the street He is just a normal guy, with his beloved girlfriend, with a normal happy life. But in that fateful day, everything crumbles. Countless Animas appear in the city, infest everyone in sight and kill anything that dares to stand on their path. Before his very eyes, his girlfriend sacrifices her life for his chance of survival. But what can he do? They are everywhere, he can only stand there, holding the locket of their love, hopelessly watches his most beloved one die in vain, and waits for his inevitable fate. A Core slowly approaches him, and starts to infest its prey. In the middle of the transformation, he suddenly gains a glimmer of his sanity, what does he feel? It's not fear, nor hopelessness, it's rage. Griping the locket, his rage starts to burn so hard that it overrides the will of the Core itself ([tip="Revendread Origin"][/tip], you can see the blue light of the Core slowly turns red by his will). When the last piece of the Core disappears, all that is left is a transformed human with nothing but the unstoppable lust for vengeance ([tip="Revendread Slayer"][/tip]). At this time the HEROes in the city start to react. They succesfully destroy the infested horde, and all Animas are forced to retreat. Dead people are burried in a large, quarantined graveyard, but the Slayer himself is nowhere to be found.

As time passes, the city now returns to its normal life. As the crisis is stopped too easily, no one ever knows about the deadliest ability of the Core. All Cores are now at their full mature state, and the right time to act has come. From the grave, the dead arises ([tip="Vendread Reorigin"][/tip]), and instantly transforms into an even more monstrous form under the Core's influence ([tip="Vendread Striges"][/tip], [tip="Vendread Houndhorde"][/tip], [tip="Vendread Revenants"][/tip]). They start to rally and prepare for a surprise strike. But suddenly from the deep dark sky, the Slayer appears, with a clear intention that is to put an end to this invasion himself ([tip="Vendread Nights"][/tip]). He killed countless of those monstrosities, but it's just the beginning. The Cores of those killed creatures start to merge together ([tip="Vendread Reunion"][/tip]), into a more powerful, and even more monstrous form ([tip="Vendread Chimera"][/tip]). And not only that, from the mountain of corspes their Champion arises ([tip="Vendread Battlelord"][/tip]), leading the horde of reanimated monsters ([tip="Vendread Charge"][/tip]). Battlelord overpowers Slayer (he has higher attack, and is able to prevent Slayer from activing his attack boosting effect), and even though the Slayer fights bravely, eventually he is defeated, and his life is in the hands of the Battlelord ([tip="Vendread Revolution"][/tip]). Seeing the potential, Battlelord extracts his core, in an attemp to merge Slayer's with his own. But it is the moment our Hero (Anti-Hero?) has been waiting for. With a swift but deadly attack, Slayer rips the Core out of Battlelord's chest, instantly destroying his entire body ([tip="Revendread Evolution"][/tip]). But the death of the Battlelord is not the end, the horde is still at its peak power, and with his current status he can't keep fighting anymore. But Slayer's determination knows no end, to the point that he is willing to damn himself if it helps him annihilate those montrosities. He fuses Battlelord's Core with his own, reaching his most powerful form ([tip="Revendread Executor"][/tip]). With this newfound power, first he obliterates all of the reanimated horde, then he mercilessly destroys the Animas ([tip="Vendread Nightmare"][/tip]), ending the invasion altogether. The sun slowly rises over the city's skyscrapers. Only Executor stands there, above the ruin of the graveyard ([tip="Vendread Daybreak"][/tip]). He loses the will to fight (the ritual monster affected by Daybreak can no longer attack directly), and he damns himself to an irreversible point. Although he is the Hero who saves the city, he cannot let anyone see his monstrous form, he doesn't even know the purpose of his existence anymore.

The HERO came, all they saw is a battlefield with countless corspes and ruin. But again, the Executor is nowhere to be found. As time passes, the city once more returns to its normal life. But people tell each other about a mysterious man in the night, who stops bad guys, saves the innocence, and disappears without a trace. He is considered an outlaw, and the government wants to arrest him. But the HERO decide to leave him be, as they have a very small, but firm clue about what happened that night. And with the people, they already recognise him as an HERO. If you are a bad guy, fear the night, as even in the darkest hour, he will come for you and stop you. You should know that, his determination knows no end ([tip="Advendread Savior"][/tip]).[/indent]
